Spring is finally here!

Got the bike out of storage and getting it ready for the first big ride up north.
Needs the battery charged a good clean up and overall check of oil level, tire pressure and
make sure all lights are in working order.
Be on the road today for that first beautiful ride around Lake Charlevoix!

It is the end of the riding season for me!  It has been a great summer riding around northern Michigan, put on a little over 2000 miles, now time to put away for the winter.  See you in Spring 2014!

Milwaukee Lakefront

Had a great time taking in all the events: Parade, great food and drink (Miller beer of course!), music concerts and just hanging out with my Beautiful God Daughter and all the other bikers.  It was fun, fun, fun!
We did spend a lot of time at the H-D Museum, Miller Park, Milwaukee lakefront and downtown.

Last Ride of 2012!

It is a beautiful Fall day in Northern Michigan!  A great day for a motorcycle ride.  The sun is shinning through the last colors of the season as I ride around beautiful Lake Charlevoix.

First Ride of 2012!

Beautiful day for a great ride around Lake Charlevoix!  After a complete bike checkout, tire fill and battery charge, it took a little Ether to get the old Hog started this year.  A little later than usual because of our long Florida winter.
Ride through Boyne City and past Veterans Park was nice, road still rough toward Charlevoix past Young State Park but being repaired this summer, finally.
Charlevoix was pretty with its many flowers and Marinas.  The lake just sparkled as I rode south on M66 toward East Jordan.  The town was quiet as I roared down Main Street.  Not much traffic on this great day.
It was a wonderful first ride, hope to do much more riding this year.

My Memorial Day ride was great, thinking of all the young men, all 58,178 soldiers that are not able to enjoy this day because they gave the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam to keep us free.
